This page contains suggested methods for obtaining clue scrolls.

Beginner and easy clue scrolls

• Catching lucky implings in the donator zone
• Fishing Raw karambwanji near the farming patches for clue bottles.
• Completing easy slayer tasks.

Medium clue scrolls

• Killing dust devils in the catacombs (east and then south) with blood barrage or ice barrage while using protect from melee. This is also very useful for farming dark totems, which you can use to obtain hard and elite clues.

Hard and elite clue scrolls

• Using dark totems to kill Skotizo, which always drops a hard clue scroll when killed. It also has a 1/5 chance to drop an elite clue scroll. Protect against magic prayer and bring at least a magic shortbow (i). Darklight or arclight is also highly recommended to use against the altars.

Master clue scrolls

• Giving one of each easy, medium, hard and elite clues to Watson in Edgeville in exchange for a master clue scroll.
• Completing an easy clue scroll for a 1/47 chance of receiving a master clue scroll.
• Completing a medium clue scroll for a 1/20 chance of receiving a master clue scroll.
• Completing a hard clue scroll for a 1/8 chance of receiving a master clue scroll.
• Completing an elite clue scroll for a 1/3 chance of receiving a master clue scroll.
